Indonesian Art and Culture Week: A Week of Beauty and Joy

Indonesian Week and Art and Cultural Week was held from Monday, 20 April 2026 to Friday, 24 April 2026. The event was one of the most exciting and memorable weeks for both students and teachers. Throughout the week, the school was filled with energy, creativity, and teamwork as students participated in different cultural and artistic competitions. The celebration allowed everyone to appreciate Indonesian culture while also giving students a chance to showcase their talents.

Many students worked hard for weeks before the event to prepare their performances, artwork, and presentations. During the competitions, students showed confidence, dedication, and creativity.

One of the major competitions during the week was the Puppet Art Competition. Blue House successfully became the winner with the efforts of Sabrina S1, Millie S2, Michelle C S3, Rafa JC1, and Katlyn JC1. Their creativity impressed the judges. Another exciting competition was the Poster Design Competition, where Red House claimed victory through the outstanding work of Cheryl G S2, Sadiya S2, Lana JC1, and Naomi JC1. Their poster design was creative and colorful.

The Sundanese Dance Competition was also one of the highlights of the celebration. Blue House once again achieved first place with an amazing performance by Nikhil S1, Catherine S2, Chloe S2, Jaquelin S2, Chelsea S3, Evolette S3, and Michael JC1. Their dance performance showed great coordination, confidence, and cultural appreciation.

In addition, Blue House won the Group Photo Competition with their creative photograph. Red House was awarded Best Participation because of their enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the entire event. Their strong spirit and positive attitude contributed greatly to the success of the celebration.

Another memorable competition was the “Battle of the Brush”. In the Lower Secondary Category, Joan S1 was the winner with an impressive piece of artwork which symbolized and matched the theme. In the Upper Secondary Category, Katlyn JC1 achieved first place with her artistic skills. The competition allowed students to express themselves through art and demonstrate their imagination and talent.

Overall, Indonesian Week and Art and Cultural Week was a successful and meaningful celebration. It was not only a week of competitions but also a time for students to learn more about culture. The event encouraged students to be confident, creative, and supportive of one another. It will surely remain one of the most memorable events of the school year.
