Every year Bina Bangsa School Bandung holds a sports festival,an annual event which takes place over a number of days to promote physical fitness and build teamwork and cooperation. This year was no different. This year, we had an extensive line-up of activities, featuring table tennis, badminton, basketball, and futsal. The four houses participated in the sports festival.
On 5 November 2025, the table tennis and badminton matches took place. Devina, from the Yellow House emerged as the champion of the girls’ singles table tennis match, while Rafael, from the Red House claimed victory in the boys’ single match. Meanwhile, in the doubles category, Darren and Rafael from the Red House prevailed as the champions.
Meanwhile, in the badminton matches, Chelsea from the Blue House secured the title in the girls’ singles badminton match, while the boys’ singles crown was captured by Michael from Blue House. In the doubles division, Jay and Nicole Adam representing the Yellow House dominated the competition and earned the championship.
Following a brief intermission, the elimination rounds for both futsal and basketball took place on 7 November 2025. The basketball matches involved 5 participants of both genders, whereas the futsal competition was divided into boys’ and girls’ categories, with 8 players each.
On 11 November, the concluding matches for basketball and futsal took place. The top teams from the earlier round competed for first place, while the remaining teams contested the third-place playoff.
Ultimately, the basketball championship was secured by the Yellow House.The futsal title was claimed by the Red House.
The series of sports competitions highlighted the remarkable commitment and talent of our students. Each house demonstrated perseverance and respect throughout the matches, reflecting the true values of sportsmanship. These events not only determined the champions of each category but also fostered camaraderie and strengthened the bond within the school community.
