This academic year, both the campaigns and the actual election were held onsite where all students voted for their preferred candidates.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Meyke Ingrit Purboyo<\/strong> (JC 1 Logic) emerged as this year\u2019s SC President and <strong>Eugenia Verrencia Suwandi<\/strong> (JC 1 Teamwork) as the SC Vice President, both under the party \u201cThe Aimers\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview after the election, both said that the results were unexpected because the other candidates were really good too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were 3 parties to choose from: \u201cThe Ocean\u201d, \u201cThe Aimers\u201d, and \u201cThe Students\u2019 Voice\u201d. The campaign lasted for about one week and the candidates were able to campaign in the assembly and in each of the Secondary and Junior College classes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of the total 150 votes cast, 75 went to the Aimers, 68 to the Ocean Party, and the rest went to the Students\u2019 Voice Party.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Ingrit, the newly elected SC President, put it, <em>\u201cThis year, we want to do the events we used to have  before the pandemic and just add more this time. We also hope that this year\u2019s Student Council will be better than those of the&nbsp; previous years.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aimers won on a platform of a <strong><em>\u2018Return to Normalcy after the Pandemic\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and their main campaign focused on having more onsite events, which has brought excitement to students, especially that the school had just opened for the onsite set-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s set of SC officers will be guided by <strong>Ms. Teresa Samson<\/strong>, their Advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quill.binabangsaschool.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sc-election.jpg?w=724\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-752\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The newly elected Student Council President and Vice President of Bina Bangsa School Bandung<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By: Christopher Nathan Mulyadi, Secondary 3 Integrity 11 August 2022 &#8211; BBS Bandung held its annual election for the Student Council President and Vice President.
