Each party had the opportunity to answer questions about their plans and events for the school and explain why they should be elected as the 2026-2027 Student Council. This was the moment for all the students to finalise their decisions on who to vote for. All the students and I listened carefully and attentively. We all compared the ideas, confidence of the different groups and the commitment to dedicate themselves to lead the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event started off with an enthusiastic opening by our Student Council adviser, Ms Jonna. Then, the Head and Vice head of each group was greeted with a tidal wave of applause with Naomi and Kayla representing 1M, Metta and Louis for A.C.E, and, last but not the least, Matthew and Ayumi for G3. The moment they sat down, we could feel their determination, and competitiveness.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the debate, we could differentiate between the confident answers and the uncertain, unclear answers. They all talked about their events, plans and commitment. But one candidate stood out to me because their answers were clear, thoughtful and realistic. They spoke about listening to our voices, organising more school events, and making sure every student\u2019s voice is heard. I also admired how they answered the questions calmly and respectfully.&nbsp;Another candidate also shared some exciting and interesting ideas, and I appreciate the effort they put into their campaigns. However, I felt like this candidate has presented the best vision, mission and is the most committed and&nbsp; prepared to lead.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After today\u2019s debate, I have already decided on who to vote for. The debate helped me and other students understand each candidate better.
